Someone asked me the question:
What are the skills required for an IT professional to succeed?

Most of us are in IT areas, or know someone who is an IT professional.
What do you think are the important skills required for a successful
career in IT? Technical or otherwise. Please limit to 5 skills that you
think are most needed. You may want to benchmark against successful
professionals at your current/previous workplace, along with your own
(if you consider yourself successful. No pun intended.).
