Rao garu,
Call me Vittal please.
What I am talking about Smt. P. Susheela is only a scratch on the
surface or tip of the iceberg.
Let us see... can you name one person from AP who has nation-wide
recognition in the freedom struggle? Tamil Nadu has Rajaji. We usually
take the names of leaders from Maharashtra, Punjab, Gujarat, UP and
Bengal. These states have several freedom fighters on national repute.
We have none. why?
We have a great culture, sweet language, and rich literature. We have
Kuchpudi, Kondapalli, Pochampalli, Addanki to name a few. Does anyone
know about them outside AP other than Kuchipudi?
We have great people in all walks of life. But we do not take pride and
respect our own people.
Anyhow, regarding Smt. P. Susheela, I wrote a letter to the President of
India for whatever it is worth.
We will have to rise above the communal and vote politics and respect
our Telugu culture and people. It is a shame that we have CATS now in
addition to GWTCS. Someone will start DOGS tomorrow and we will go cats
and dogs.
I would like someone to forward this message to CATS group!
Venkat Rao garu, well said!
Mumbai international airport is named after Shivaji (previously Santa
Cruz). I dare AP government to change Hyderabad airport's name to
Seetharama Raju International Airport.
Vittal
